A panel-in-progress on a special back-up story, "Once Upon a Halloween", to be featured in my upcoming HALLOWEEN LEGION graphic novel from Sequential Pulp/Dark Horse Comics.
Illustrated by artist Diana Leto of Sesame Street, it's an autobiographical tale of my first experience with Trick 'R Treat when I was six years old. That's my older brother Rick in the Devil costume (depicted here with his infamously favorite Trick 'R Treat' chant), with my oldest brother Wayne, my friend Alice, and my monstrous little self lurking in the background.
This spooky real-life adventure indirectly inspired the creation of my HALLOWEEN LEGION many years later and, I suppose, it's sort of my own origin as well.
