Happy Birthday to Peter Cushing and "Dracula"
In a wonderful coincidence (?) the late, great Peter Cushing shares his 98th birthday with the anniversary of the novel Dracula by Bram Stoker, which was first published 114 years ago today.
For me, he and Sir Christopher Lee portrayed the definitive Van Helsing and Count Dracula, and together they starred in the best Dracula film ever made.
In another odd twist of fate, Mr. Lee's birthday is tomorrow!
