Curiouser and Curiouser

Seems I'm on a roll! My new graphic novel adaptation of ALICE IN WONDERLAND has been published by Stone Arch Books!

I loved playing with Lewis Carroll's eccentric language, and kept it intact. This is a hardcover perma-bound edition and should be in bookstores and libraries very soon.

ISBN: 9781434215857/ 1-4342-1585-7

ALICE is superbly illustrated by Daniel Perez, who also brought my HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES graphic novel to life last year.

ISBN: 9781434207555/ 1-4342-0755-2

Believe it or not, I have more new summer books still to come.

Stay tuned!

  2. You are a writing machine, my friend. That's why you always leave a puddle of oil wherever you go.

  3. With the cost of oil these days, I don't think I've ever received a richer compliment.

  4. Good luck with the publishing ventures, I like both Carroll & Sherlock Holmes. I saw an interesting docu-drama that was made on Carroll a while back. It appeared on a VHS tape a friend had that contained two movies the first of which was a Dudley Moore adaptation of Alice in Wonderland.

I didn't care too much for the main feature with Moore in it, but I thought the second feature, Dreamchild (1985) which starred Ian Holm about Carroll life was very intersting. Unfortuately I don't think it was ever put on legit DVD: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089052/

  5. Thanks for mentioning DREAMCHILD. It's actually one of my favorite movies. Sadly, you're right, it's not yet available on DVD.
