Congratulations to my friend, and frequent collaborator, Tom Floyd for receiving the Golden Lion Award from the Edgar Rice Burroughs Bibliophiles!

Past recipients of this prestigious honor have been: Hal Foster, Russ Manning, Harlan Ellison, Philip Jose Farmer, Forrest J Ackerman, Johnny Weismuller, Joe Jusko, and Frank Frazetta, among many others.

You're in great company, Tom! I'm so proud of you, pal!

Kree-gah!!

  1. I wasn't aware of Tom's art until I discovered him thanks to your blog, Martin.

He's a heck of an artist, with a very cool Al Williamson vibe in his drawings.

Needles to say, I'm anxiously awaiting your Ki-Gor comic.

  4. Please excuse my triple post.

My computer's been giving me Hell lately and since my first post seemed to vanish in the ether, I insisted.

    Sorry again, guys.
