The Ray Harryhausen Film Festivalcontinueswith my all-time favorite of his many fabulous movies--MYSTERIOUS ISLAND. Showtimes are at 7pm and 9pm this evening at the Minneapolis Trylon Theater.
Lisa and I will be there and we hope to see you, too!
I wish this was like a traveling exhibit. Oh well will have to just covet my dvd's all the more. I envy you and Lisa being able to go see these again on the big screen. I miss those days.
It would be fun to see it again on big screen. I was fortunate to have seen it in its original run as a kid at the Arlene theater in Longview, Tx. It was one of those elaborate movie palaces with a balcony with a winding staircase going up to it and neat paintings along the walls made to stir one's imagination from the git go. Now I have it on DVD.
